Since the 1980's, Scot has been actively involved in the Real Estate Industry. Scot studied Real Estate at Northern Kentucky University, and Finance at The University of Cincinnati, and forayed into personal real estate investments, buying and flipping houses. After working as a successful Real Estate Agent, Scot utilized the expert skills he'd developed over the years to enhance the careers of the other Realtors across the country through seminars, training and coaching.
Working first with Floyd Wickman, training Sweathogs, and now his own company, Success Learning Institute, Scot is a nationally recognized market expert and highly sought after speaker. He is a trusted source of Real Estate information and is a member of the National Speakers Association. Often being quoted and published in Real Estate journals and books, most recently Broker Agent News, his first book, "How to List and sell FSBO's" is currently available on Amazon.com. His new book on Short Sales will be published soon. His last speaking engagement was to a standing room only crowd at the ERA National Convention, a subsidiary of Realogy, the nation's largest real estate conglomerate. His diverse career in the industry also included his position as Vice President of Real Estate with IPIX, where he provided marketing and sales strategies for the industry trailblazer who created 360 degree panoramic virtual media for the Real Estate industry.
In his spare time, Scot volunteers for Life Center, an organization for which he is most passionate. His father is a heart transplant recipient and Scot uses his public speaking skills in high schools and with other organizations to inform young people and old alike the importance of organ donation.
Scot is the father of four and recently became a grandfather. He enjoys go-carting, four wheeling, skiing, ziplining and traveling.
