Vashon was born and raised in Cincinnati, but has traveled and lived in all regions of the country. She is what you would call a "Boomerang", leaving her beloved city, and being inspired by other locations to improve her own hometown. She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Wilberforce University. She is currently working on her Master's of Technology specializing in Construction Management at Northern Kentucky University.
